I had the privilege to be part of one of the first week-long retreats led by Jen for my Confirmation in 2017. Although I didn't come to the faith at that moment, looking back, I can clearly see that she planted a seed that God later watered. Her faithfulness influenced me to come back to my faith now. To this day, I still remember her boldness, authenticity, and the joy she brought to every talk. Jen has an incredible ability to capture the attention of a room with her humor; but also the gift to be in tune with the Holy Spirit to speak directly to the hearts of those listening. The reason she can speak with such authority is because she truly walks it out. I’ve seen Jen on stage, but I also have seen her serve the community when no one is looking, I’ve seen Jen going to reconciliation, I’ve seen Jen going to Bible studies to be filled with knowledge to go teach others. She doesn’t just speak! She does! She is genuine and carries herself with great humility! Her passion for Christ is contagious, and I truly believe God uses her to impact lives in ways that extend far beyond the retreat themselves. I know that, because He used her to impact mine.
